The preschoolers help each other to make the fireplace for Our Goodnight Moon set.

We each made our own Valentine Box to hold all our Valentines for our party tomorrow.

We began working with wood Hammer Nails drills and sandpaper as well as glue! The children are doing a great job and next week. We will paint our sculptures.

We read the old story Caps for Sale and then enjoyed play acting the story using all of our winter hats!

The children enjoyed using my heart counters as food and made pretend cookies and muffins with them. we read a book about what the mail carrier does and we each got an envelope to write a letter to our parents these should be in their backpacks for you!

Thank you for bringing in plastic items for experimenting with the water. We each put a vessel into the water and then gradually put in plastic Bears to see how many it could hold!

Yesterday and today we have been working on props for our performance of the book Goodnight Moon…

We had a lovely mellow Thursday with a small group of children today. We counted hearts, played in the water table for quite a while and the children busted out their own rendition of the movie Frozen!

After reading the classic story Goodnight Moon yesterday we decided we wanted to play act it. Today we began painting the green background of the room and gathered other props around the room as well and began rehearsing…

We also did more card making at the writing table!
